Annual bald eagle watch.

January 22: Annual Bald Eagle Watch 10:00AM-12:00PM

Des Moines County Conservation will lead the annual Eagle Watch caravan to Lock & Dam 18 in Gladstone, IL, following a brief indoor presentation about eagles at the Port of Burlington Welcome Center.

Participants may join the caravan from the Port of Burlington to Lock & Dam 18 in their own vehicles or plan to carpool with others, or may meet the group at the dam. The Eagle Watch will last approximately 2 hours. Birdwatchers will be given instruction in eagle identification.
Binoculars will be available for loan but participants are encouraged to bring their own.
Participants may leave the group at any time.

There is no fee or registration required for the program.
