Coffee, Wine, Beer… OH MY!

We do love our cafes, don’t we? Coffee and coffee shops have flourished into a medium of cultural and artistic expression. There’s a sense of identity too, in finding that perfect shop. The whirr of the espresso maker and clink of glassware; the toasty scent of your favorite java; the chalkboard menu and the desserts under glass; they make the space uniquely yours.

Burlington is home to a fantastic galaxy of coffee shops, as well as two microbreweries serving up regional brew and a local winery. Brand loyal visitors will appreciate that Panera Bread is located right on the PZAZZ! Entertainment Complex campus with Starbucks and Dunn Brothers also in town. But for the adventurers seeking local Burlington favorites, here’s a sample:

The Beancounter Coffee House and Drinkery

Locally owned & operated, the Beancounter serves coffee, tea, beer, smoothies, wine and scratch made pastries, lunch and brunch. It’s a chill place for a drink and a snack with friends while shopping Jefferson Street… the homemade oatmeal creme pies are worth the trip!

You can find live music and events hosted here from time to time on the weekends – check their facebook for updates.
